  1. Firstly, its team work. I believe all of the groups would have done much better if there are more communication and teamwork among groups.
Secondly, its involvement and commitment. To be frank, a lot of the members, INCLUDING myself, always slack and are not always task focused. If we were, I think we shud be able to somehow to better...

  2. As for this NJRC competition and the previous VEX competition, I thought that the Robotics Club was not at all committed. Everyone or most of the the people would treat robotics as something they could afford not to attend and something wasting their time. I think all of us are not committing ourselves as we should as Robotics Club members. We should be more committed, diligent, hardworking and interested. After all, we are only slightly more than 20 people out of the 198 people in SST. We must also be focused and appreciate what we are given. Like make do with whatever we have rather than complaining. Lastly, we must be the best we can.

  3. First, I'll reflect on myself. I was part of Guang Jun's team after an abrupt transfer initiated by myself. I am good (subjectively) at building robots. However, I'm poor in programming. I cannot do a complex program required to fulfill the missions in the competitions. So, I just helped in the building and for the rest of the time, I resent to admit it, but I did slack by fiddling with the lego bricks. I was not very committed to the robotic demands as I had never been called back that much before to do training.
Thus I did not contribute much to my team. I should be more eager to learn robotics. I'll try to improve my programming skills and be more participative when preparing for competitions.

Next, I'll reflect as the whole robotics group. We have been quite reluctant and lazy, so we did not put in our best effort to produce the robot possible. Also, as teams, we did not work together well. We should have a bit more enthusiasm and put more commitment in robotics.

  5. As for previous competitions, we had not really put in our fullest effort into building and we also did not assign our roles correctly. The next time i will put in my fullest effort and gain a prize for sst. Even if we lose, we lose with pride

  6. I think we could have put in more effort if certain pupils are not too individualistic and not allowing others to contribute their ideas. We all have different areas of expertise and we should be allowed to contribute in them, and by doing so we can complement each other without putting the other down.

I think I need to work harder as I find robotics very challenging.

  7. I think that we had not really spent a lot of time and effort in NJRC. Firstly, we assigned the task wrongly to each other. We should have work together for a longer time to see each other's potential. Secondly, we did not have much teamwork. Some times, we were arguing. Our robot took such a long time to build as we had argued with each other repeatedly with robot is the best. We build, dismantle, build and dismantle... Therefore we did not had much time to perfect our other part of the NJRC. Thirdly, We did not put in much effort. We were often seen slacking and wanted to go home quicker.

After all these, I had finally, seen the some potentials of my friends. I believe that if we stop thinking of ourselves only and think about others, teamwork, We will be able to create a better team and strive for the best.

  8. We did not spend enough time upon the robot and we only did what we were assigned to do. We did not work together enough over the presentation and last, we slacked too much during the

  9. i believe that we did not put in 100% effort in this competition and we seriously lacked teamwork. most of our work are last minute. we could do a lot better if we put our hearts in

  10. I think that the main problem that caused this failure for our team was our "slacking". First of all, our team had members that forgot to come unless we called them, we had team members that left early, and we had team members that kept blaming everyone except themselves. It is important to believe in your teammates, and stop blaming them. We should have put in much more effort.

  11. I think think that there was less teamwork than before.
We all were not focused and did not take this task seriously and ended up putting in very little effort and doing last minute work

  12. I felt that this year NJRC was quite a failure as we lost two members where one is not our fault while the other is. Though we had passed though many difficulties, we still reached the very end of the NJRC. I learnt that teamwork and communication is very important as we may not have both skills which makes us weak in communicating with one another.

  13. I have not really coorperated well with my team. I focused only on building, and even then, I had some problems that I owe to my inexperience. I will need to do more research about the mechanisms as that is the one area that I am confused about. Secondly, I must learn how to communicate effectively with my team members. I had upset them, I have to admit, on more than one occasion, and also has the tendency to slack when I am stuck with my current task.

Our team also confused ourselves as we assumed that the other would take up the task, and in the end, we completed little and had to drive ourselves through a last effort. I feel that we should take our own initiatives and also keep tabs on each other.

  14. My team faced many problems during the competition. We did not have enough teamwork, so it caused us to not be able to complete tasks as well as we could have. We also had one less member, and he was the group leader who kept most things in place. Our team's robot builders were also not good at building the bases for the robot, so we wasted time on doing that.
