Information for the Australia trip

Our departure flight will be on Sunday 12 December at approximately 9.05pm. We will be arriving in Brisbane, Australia, on Monday 13 December at approximately 6.50 in the morning.

Our return flight will be on Sunday 19 December at approximately 1.40 pm. We will be arriving in Singapore at around 7.30pm on the same day. Students will be dismissed from there.

Changi Airport            : Terminal 1

Clearing immigration  : Around 8.30pm

Time difference between Singapore and Gold Coast is +2 hours.

i.e. Singapore 6.00am = Gold Coast 8.00am

Accommodation:

The Robotics Club will be staying at Tallebudgera Recreation Centre for the IROC Competition for 4 days 3 nights, from the 14 Dec to the 16 Dec. After that, we will check-in to a hotel at Surfers’ Paradise. The hotel name is Watermark Hotel & Spa. We will be staying at the hotel for 2 days 2 nights.

Robotiers going to IROC Competition

We will be having Robotics trainings on:

24 November to 26 November 8a.m to 4p.m.

29 November to 3 December 8a.m to 4p.m.

We will be taking this time to build our robots and prepare for the competition. Of course, we will be having the training in the ICT Hub. If needed, we will extend the dates of the training.

No Robotics training on Wednesday, 17 November

Everyone, please note that there will not be Robotics training on 17 November.

The 12th IROC Competition Updates

Dear Nominated Candidates,

At present, the flight details are that we will reach Australia on 13th Dec and we will leave on 19th Dec.
The airlines we've managed to secure is Qantas. Please consult your parents on the viability of flying by this airline and we will call your parents by 8 Nov to confirm.

Prize presentation

Prize recipients, please note that the prizes would be given out tomorrow morning, so please sit at the side of the stage to prepare yourself for the presentation. Please do not wait for us to call you there, you should be there when you come to school.
