Robotics training on Wednesday, 30 March 2011

Dear all,

There will be Robotics on 30 March 2011, as usual in the ICT Hub and in Our Space. The session will take place from 2.15pm to 5.15pm.

Hi all,

There will be Robotics tomorrow from 8 AM – 3 PM. As stated, this is an optional session. Please complete your eLearning tasks before you start.

I will open up the CCA room on 15/2/11(Tues) between 8am - 1pm. You are welcome to join me if you want to practice.

President
- Ensure smooth operation of the Exco
- Represent the club in school or external events
- Ensure overall discipline of the club

Vice President 
- Assist the President in running of the Exco
- Represent the club in school or external events
- Collate forms collected from Level ICs
- Organise Training Camp
- Track the attendance of the club

Secretary 
- Coordinate Exco Meetings and record meeting minutes
- Collate student details (Personal Contact No. and Parent Contact No.)
- Represent the club in school or external events
- Organise Training Camp

Treasurer 
- Collect funds for events/camps
- Represent the club in school or external events
- Organise Training Camp
- Monitor the loan book with LC1 and LC 2.

Logistics Coordinator 1 
- Overall In charge of LEGO NXT Resources
- Track the loan in / out book
- Ensure all LEGO resources are returned at the end of training
- Maintain cleanliness of the storage cupboard
- Organise Training Camp

Logistics Coordinator 2 
- Overall In charge of VEX Resources
- Track the loan in / out book
- Ensure all VEX resources are returned at the end of training
- Maintain cleanliness of the storage cupboard
- Organise Training Camp

Blog Master 
- Post updates in the blog
- Track achievements using the blog ( Include awards and name of winners)
- Post event photos
- Organise Training Camp

Level IC 
- Take attendance of the level during CCA Session
- Assist in form collection for the level
- Organise Training Camp

Robotics Training - 04 Mar 2011

Please note that there will be Robotics training tomorrow, as usual in the ICT Hub and Our Space. It will be held from 2:00pm. However, the training would be ending slightly earlier at 4:30 pm.

Secondary 1s:

Please continue with the building of your robots based on the specifications given by Mr Soh. If you are done with it, do complete the mission given by your sec 2 seniors. Practice on the programming revised with you during the Wednesday training and complete your mission using only light sensors to trace and detect your line. Please remember to be punctual.

Secondary 2s:

Guang Jun: Take attendance of the Sec 2s.
Hao Yang: Take attendance of the Sec 1s.

LEGO Team:
All teams must be able to successfully complete your mission at least 3 times in zone A and B by the end of the day at 4:30 pm. I want one of you to be the runner and the other to take a video of the run.
Please take a video for all your runs and keep it regardless if it is successful or not.
I will check on your videos when my meeting ends.

VEX Team:
Continue with your robot building.

I will be coming in to the training after my meeting ends at around 3:30 pm.
Please be on task and make full use of your time during Robotics training to hone your skills.
Remember, actions speaks louder than words.
